Storm Runners Book 2: The Surge ReviewI have a couple of issues with this book, though I liked it and will wait for book three. I think it is too long a wait between the sequels coming out. It is difficult to pick up where you left off after waiting 9 months or more. I say wait until all books are out then read them back to back. I also found this one to miss some of the descriptive details that would help paint the whole picture in my mind of what was happening. Things seemed to be quickly introduce for drama and lack the believability. I got lost in the many attempts of Chase's dad trying to get to the ranch, get turned back, try again, get turned back and on it went. I do like Roland Smith's books. I have many of his that are my favorite, but I just am not sure this one is up to the calibre of his other books. I felt like the ending was abrupt and thrown in as a way to snag you to read book three as they jump from one disaster to another without solving the issues of this disaster.Wish I could give it more stars.Storm Runners Book 2: The Surge OverviewWant to learn more information about Storm Runners Book 2: The Surge?
