Weather Lab (Science Lab) ReviewMy six-year-old loves conducting experiments and is very interested in science. I found these science kits at a local wholesale store and they are lots of fun. The Weather Lab contains 50 weather experiments. The kit contains a test tube with lid, a thermometer, 4 wind cups, 5 plastic straws, 2 straw holders, and 12 paper press-out pieces. One of our first projects was making a stand for the test-tube (the materials are provided). The attached booklet explains the various weather phenomena, and other weather-related trivia. The 50 experiments are relatively easy to complete. Some can be managed by a child, and others require adult supervision. We had fun conducting experiments such as weighing air (with the aid of two balloons, a ruler, tape, and thread). Many of the items required for the experiments are everyday items that can be found in the home. This is a fun kit recommended for children ages 6 and up.
