Draw Write Now, Book 2: Christopher Columbus, Autumn Harvest, Weather (Draw-Write-Now) ReviewThis series is one of my all time favorite homeschool finds! Simple step by step drawing and copy work. My 5 year old started book 1 in preschool. His drawings were adorable but pretty much unrecognizable. But, he persisted and now a year later is becoming quite the artist! Plus his handwriting is great now and I know that these helped him learn to read.
The best part about it is he LOVES to do it! It's a treat for him! Who knew handwriting could be fun!
We've got almost every book now. After he finishes a book, we pick out the best section or two and make his `own' book by gluing the drawings and copy-work onto construction paper and putting it all in a clear report folder. He's so proud!
